GEN 1:26-28 (Then God said, "Let us make people in our image, to be like ourselves. They will be masters over all life-the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the livestock, wild animals, and small animals."So God created people in his own image; God patterned them after himself; male and female he created them. God blessed them and told them, "Multiply and fill the earth and subdue it. Be masters over the fish and birds and all the animals…NLT )
(God
spoke: “let us make human beings in our
image, make them reflecting our nature. So they can be responsible for fish of
the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every
animal that moves on the face of the Earth”. God created human beings ; he
created them godlike, Reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female. God bless them: “Prosper! Reproduce!
Fill the Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in
the air, for every living things that moves on the face of Earth.” ..THE MESSAGE).
On
Earth, man occupies a peculiar position that sets him apart him from all other
entities in our planet. While all the other things – animate or inanimate,
living or non-living – behave according to regular patterns to balance nature,
man seems to enjoy – within definite limits – a small amount of freedom.
Man
controls his way of living, speaks his own language, perceives and learns great
amount of knowledge, manages his emotions, and deals properly with problems he
faces. All of which is unique to man only. There is, in fact, within the
infinite expanse of the universe a small field in which man's conscious conduct
can change the course of events.
It
is this fact that causes man to distinguish between an external world subject
to unstoppable and endless necessity, and his human faculty of thinking,
cognizing, and acting. In Philosophy, mind or reason is contrasted with matter,
something that is extended in space and persists through time. Fully aware of
the fact that his own body is subject to the same forces that determine all
other things and beings, man attributes his ability to think, to will and to
act to an invisible and intangible, yet powerful, factor he calls his mind.
Are
you actually working inline with that which is written in the passage that was
quoted earlier? Is it not that all things that you ought to be ruling over are
now ruling over you. A man of God once said and I quote” Be the master of your
habit or your habit becomes the master of your own self"
Have
you ever wonder why it is so easy for people to dish out money to merry than
them dishing out money to you to help fulfill and reach your goal, think on
these things! For the fact that no one has attain any great height in your
family does not mean you have to follow the same evil family pattern, because
your father or mother are finding it difficult to send you to school does not
mean that, that kind of mentality should eat you up and you also should
conclude that you have nothing good to offer the generation unborn.
